Site: Independent Design Portfolio - Natalie Carlson [link] Purpose: Website Layout, version NCDIV, 2009 Method: Photoshop CS3, PHP, XHTML, CSS, Javascript Credits: Optima (font), DeviantART (embedded slide-show), all images and content on this site are copyright 2009 Natalie Carlson, unless otherwise stated Description: The Homepage of my current site design and layout. The inset screenshot shows the brief title fade-in/out feature of the embedded slide-show as it transitions from one image to the next. Those images link directly to the larger work in my deviantArt gallery. I have not yet figured out how to change the background color of the embedded slide-show. DeviantART layered the swfs and so I am temporarily stuck with the green. In the meantime, I changed the color scheme of the whole site slightly to make it look cohesive. I'm not all that happy about it though. It's a subtle change, but I will need full customization ability for the next layout (NCDV). |
